Rescue is a powerful gathering of youth and college leaders and students in the Bay Area and beyond, who love Jesus and are seeking to run with vision and purpose to see their campuses and communities changed for God. We will unite to learn, worship, create,  be inspired and challenged in our faith and actions.

is that those who participate in this conference would use what they've learned to be leaders, servants, and evangelists in their day-to-day lives. We are encouraging every church group and ministry to pray and come up with specific creative ideas where they can serve and reach the lost and hurting on their school and university campuses and in their community. Here are some ideas to think about, please send us your ideas.

A passionate and gifted communicator, Francis Chan is the best-selling author of books, Crazy Love & Forgotten God, and the host of the BASIC.series. Francis is the founding pastor of Cornerstone Church in Simi Valley, California, and is the founder of Eternity Bible College. He also sits on the board of directors of Children’s Hunger Fund and World Impact. Francis now lives in Northern California with his wife, Lisa, and their four daughters and one son.

An Iranian born Muslim, Keivan had a life transforming encounter with Jesus at age 17. For the past 18 years Keivan has served in youth & college ministries and also as a missionary and evangelist around the Bay Area. He is currently the Bay Area director for NNYM (National Network of Youth Ministries) & the Global Outreach pastor at WestGate Church.

Tim Reilly, whose tent making is insurance, is a gifted evangelist with a passion for teaching others practical ways of sharing their faith without "shoving it down their throat" or making them feel "preached at". He is married to the love of his life and the father to two wonderful little girls.
Mike is the Southwest Regional Coordinator for the National Network of Youth Ministries and also serves as Ministry Outreach Coordinator for Biola University. Kristi has served in ministry for over thirty years. Since 1993, Kristi has been part of the leadership team for the National Network of Youth Ministries, where she currently serves in the area of Christian Formation. Her focus is on the soul-care of individuals.
Pastor Ron Aleman is the Spanish church senior pastor and high school pastor at Cathedral of Faith in San Jose. When he was 22 years old, God delivered him from the drug/alcohol/party scene that nearly cost him his life in an overdose. As a result, he now has an unquenching passion to let every young person know that if they open their hearts to Christ, they would become world changers and history makers.

Dr. Larry Acosta is the Founder and CEO of the Hispanic Ministry Center, Urban Youth Workers Institute (UYWI) & Co-founder of KIDWORKS along with his wife Jayme. Larry's passion is to envision and shape the emerging generation of urban leadership for transformational ministry. He is an accomplished keynote having spoken at conferences and events throughout the U.S. Larry's claim to fame is that he is married to his lovely wife Jayme and they have four wonderful children.

Ryan has a passion for reaching this generation and serves at Westgate as the pastor of Awakening [a movement of college-age/young adults]. Ryan married his beautiful wife Jenny in Dec. of 2002 and together they have three incredible kids: Ella, Ryder, & Miles. Ryan received a BA in Theology from Moody Bible Institute in Chicago and is in process of finishing his masters.

Josh is the worship leader and co-founder of Vintage Faith Church in Santa Cruz, California, an artistic community striving to introduce new generations to Jesus through creative expressions of mission. Josh serves alongside pastor and author Dan Kimball. Josh's latest worship project 'Radiant' began with a God-sized dream to inspire the church on mission with songs of hope and healing. Josh lives in Santa Cruz, California with his wife Danielle and their son London.

Kevin Kim is a multi-site campus minister and a teaching pastor at Menlo Park Presbyterian Church. He is passionate about the intersection of worship and justice, innovation and the church. He was born in Tehran, Iran, grew up in Virginia, has his M.Div from Biblical Theological Seminary, and is married with two beautiful daughters. His favorite food are Maryland blue crabs, sushi, ribs, and korean BBQ.

Bree is the Silicon Valley Director of Young Life and is happily married with a brand new baby. Bree is a gifted communicator and loves to share the love of God with youth and leaders of all ages. She currently oversees several junior high and high school clubs at schools throughout the South Bay.
Daniel currently serves as the Lead Catalyst for GradCru Networks, a graduate and professional student expression of Campus Crusade for Christ at UC Berkeley. He mobilizes, coaches, and equips missional graduate students to flourish within their fields of study, make a transforming difference among their colleagues, and lean into their callings in the marketplace. He is happily married with three children.
Daniel Curran
Matt is the Director of High School Ministries at Menlo Park Presbyterian Church on the San Francisco Peninsula. He's been serving in full-time youth ministry for the past 16 years plus a few years of volunteer leadership and internships. He enjoys family dinners with his wife, Katie, and son, Greyson.

Olivia has been serving in ministry from a young age. Growing up as a Pastor's daughter, she quickly stepped into a leadership role and served wherever necessary. She is the founder of Ignite Conference, a  youth event that takes place annually in the Bay Area. Olivia is the youth pastor for The Sacred Church launching in January. She has a passion for the Lord and strives to equip young people with the necessary tools to live fearlessly for Jesus.

Ernie Morales
Ernie is the Pastor of Student Ministries at Trinity Church in Sunnyvale. He gave his life to Jesus and discovered his calling in his twenty's. Since, he has been passionate about reaching students and helping them discover who God created them to be. He loves pizza (any kind) and watching sports (Dodgers, Lakers, Bears).
Quoc Nguyen
Quoc gave his life to Jesus in '93 after overdosing on drugs at the age of 17. He graduated from Spirit Life Bible College in '98 and joined New Life Drama Company, traveling all over the US and parts of Europe for 2 years preaching the gospel through the art form of drama. He is currently the youth pastor at River of Life Church. He is passionate about empowering this generation for Christ & influencing youth culture to make a difference.
Danny Sanchez
Danny has been on staff at Calvary San Jose since '03 and the youth pastor since '06. He has a passion for bringing God's word to the next generation and the unsaved. He loves sharing for different school chapels & Christian clubs and has a heart for ministering to the community. He and his wife Abby have five children.
Ben currently serves as Youth and Young Adult Pastor for Maranatha Christian Center. Faithfully serving at Maranatha since 1987, Pastor Ben has a long history of working with youth in Children's Church ministries, sunday schools, juvenile halls and group homes. He has a heart to raise up young leaders & develop them with their purpose in Christ. He has been married to his beautiful wife for 35 years.
Ben Guerrero
Angie has been involved in ministry to youth, women, and families for over 25 years. Her passion is to invest in young leaders & encourage those in the inner city. She has led the efforts of Battle Cry in SF, led SM Youth Leader Network, served at Harvest Evangelism, & is currently mentoring Latina students at a public high school. Her greatest joy is spending time with her 2 grown daughters and countless spiritual sons and daughters - she is lovingly referred to as "Mama Ang."
